Any believers in it? The bottoms of my feet were cramping so I ate a yuge spoonful of mustard. Cramps gone. Just like that. (snaps fingers)
High in magnesium supposedly. All I know is it works.

I keep a bottle of yellow mustard and a spoon on my nightstand. Works like a charm. Glad I am married as that may be a little tough to explain to someone else.

Drinking pickle juice works just as well.

Its the vinegar in it. I drink apple cider or balsamic, mixed with water. Takes away cramps instantly and keeps them away for a few weeks.

I'd suffer the cramps before I'd drop any mustard in my mouth.

I went to the pharmacy and bought some magnesium pills after being told about them from another who suffered cramping

When ever I have one I take a small little white pill, almost instantly the cramp is gone, they work good for all kinds of muscle aches as well.

Easier thing is to stay hydrated though !

My swimming coach swears by taking cherry juice, said it works as good as pickle juice. Pickle juice and banana has worked for me.

Tonic Water works too. Contains Quinine. Have done all of the above and all work. Nothing works instantly for me. It happens to be why I'm awake at 4:22 AM. smile

Re: Taking mustard for cramps? - 04/10/22 07:50 PM

I've tried lots things over years. Did the mustard can't say didn't work. Drink pickle juice during day.
Last time though when we had this discussion here. Someone mentioned little Cramp Relief pills can find at Walmart. I picked me up a bottle and have to say for me they work better than anything else I have tried.
Had friends wife was cramping so bad every night could even sleep. Told her about the Cramp Relief pills so she picked some up. Guess they even have a regular and a pm with melatonin in them.
She tried them pills and said was best thing ever tried.
Like so many things can't say will work for everyone. But I have a bottle on night stand and one stashed in my go bag.
