Road banks better than 12’ high, so why is their a shovel in the back truck box?

A shovel? There must only be one guy in the truck. My Dad carried three shovels in his. He said he didn't want anyone fighting over a shovel, everyone had their own.

Good humor. Keeping a shovel in the truck is like the now a days cowboys wearing flashy belt buckles.

No humor involved. You were going to be shoveling if he was stuck. I know that for a fact. He said it was good therapy, but I never understood why I needed therapy when he got stuck.

They say we will get another 4-7 inches on Sunday. Depending on the wind That could be filled back up. In this part of the country it isn't how much snow you get, it's how hard the wind blow that makes thee mess. I have from less than an inch to over five feet in my yard. It just depends on where you measure.

We are as dry as I have ever seen it. They are saying about three inches of moisture in what we have.

So what happened when crew cabs came out ?
Were the guys in the back allowed to sleep ?
Or does that only happen with city crews of workers.

Dad never owned crew cab and said only three people fit in his PU. If he would have had a crew cab, he would have bought another three shovels.

M.. another 7” or so will not be fun. This is near Watford City.

Sharon I spent some seasons guiding near Libby and down just off the Lolo pass, I certainly appreciate what your saying. Not that many years ago up the Clearwater basin we had just over 10” in bear camp 1st day of June that year.

Osky From what I saw the further south the less they thought there would be. Watford is quite a ways so of me. So maybe it will be less in that area. It shows it starting here at 03:00 AM on Sunday and shutting down at 06:00 PM It only shows a 20 mph wind out of the NE.

Only 20mph? In that country that’s plenty to wreck havoc with the snow. Maybe folks will have to reconsider where they hide Easter eggs?

20 mph and under is about calm here. It was 0 for a low last night, so maybe it has a crust to the point it won't move the old snow.

We got 30 inches last I heard. Nasty last few days.

Kyle what are they saying for Sunday in your area? They said we got 30 too. But I can not figure out how anyone could measure it with the wind we had.
I just saw this and thought I would share.

Maybe it’s the beginning of the ice age the powers to be taught us about back in the 70’s. Said it was long over due at that time. It’s not late in getting here, in the timing of the planet 50 years is not even a blink of an eye.

There has to rats to trap. This side of the state has been dry for a couple years. Sloughs that have had water for fifty years are dry.
