I like it,was it real or staged,? looked like the lady bear was holding the gun before it started.

I was trying to figure out where she drew from myself. Maybe it happened off camera because it sure doesnt look like she had the gun in her purse.

A friend sent it to me -- first time I saw it. Definitely looks like South America somewhere... I wonder what his intent was...

When I first watched it I thought it was from the front of the purse but it does look like she drew off camera...

I have actually seen several shootings where there is little or no blood often when at point blank range, it’s not like the movies where you get buckets in real life you can get all kinds of effects from buckets of blood to none, and then in some it takes a bit fir blood to make an appearance

Looked to me like she was holding the hangun in 2 hands before he came and she shot. Like right hand on grip and left hand on barrel like a holder.

Link doesn't work! Got it now, I've been having trouble with the site not connecting. I've heard that in some S American country's kidnapping is almost the national sport.

Kind of looked to me like she had one of those purses that have a hidden pocket accessed through a slit in the side that looks like a seam, pulling it out holding the purse still with her off hand, however I want her on my side

The video is from 2018 and is real -- The guy died at the hospital.

By Aicha El Hammar Castano
May 14, 2018, 6:26 PM

A off-duty police officer waiting to pick up her children at their school in Brazil shot an intruder, who later died at the hospital, officials said.

Katia da Silva Sastre, 42, was waiting for her children at Colégio Ferreira Master school in Sao Paolo when a man dressed in shorts and a dark hooded sweatshirt charged toward her and other parents with a pistol in his right hand.

Sastre is seen on the CCTV footage from May 12 drawing her own pistol and firing multiple shots, dropping the man to the pavement.

She kicked away his weapon and trained her gun on him before he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

On Sunday, Sastre was thanked for her heroics with a bouquet of orchids.

Márcio França, the governor of São Paulo, said Sastre "intervened against a young man who assaulted kids and their families with a gun."

"She was off duty and she didn’t have to do it," França said. "Congratulations to this military police officer, congratulations to her husband and to all mothers of the state of São Paulo."

Correct.

How many use of force classes do you think have seen this video?

Re: Mamma Bear Protecting Cubs - 05/06/22 09:00 PM

I imagine quite a few have used it for training purposes. I have seen it pop up in various feeds half a dozen times over the last three or four years and I knew the backstory.

A gunman who targeted a group of families gathered for a Mother's Day celebration at a school in Brazil was fatally shot by an off-duty cop.

Katia Sastre was praised by local officials for her bravery and was credited with saving the day.

According to the Washington Post, the governor of Sao Paulo congratulated Sastre on Twitter: “I went ... today to pay homage to a very special mother: Corporal Katia Sastre. Her courage and accuracy saved mothers and children yesterday at the door of a school.”

There's a dark haired woman looking over her shoulder when she grabs her kid and starts trying to move away. The guy grabs the arm of the kid and tries to pull her away, when the lady cop starts shooting. Looks like some kind of custody issue in play, that did not end well for the guy.

2 shots to the chest, how is he not dead or totally immobilized? It is a cool vid if it's real.

Nevermind!

A person can take a lot of bullets and still be up and fighting, and unless you hit the heart, head or a major large bone they can keep fighting till they effectively bleed out

I know of one case where a cop put 2 12 gauge slugs in the chest of a knife wielding man and the guy still managed to close with and cut him up bad before dying. And no alcohol or drugs were found in his system and here are many many more

As for no blood just think about the deer you shot that even though you might have hit it good, even though the heart and it left little to no blood, like I said above it’s only in movies you see great big pools of blood especially if the person is shot in the chest, lots of times in such cases all the blood pools internally, and a deer is not wearing a shirt to help absorb any blood either
