So far, never seen a fisher coon around here. I wonder if its more of a "lot more forest around here" thing. Than again, we don't have gray or pine squirrels around here either...
Two years ago the 1st week of September I caught a 30lbs. fisher coon that is just about as dark as yours is Brian. I sent it off to Moyles and had it tanned. Forty years of coon trapping and never had one that dark, that big and that prime and with no market I spent some money. Looks nice too.

That is a good one for sure. Get maybe one or two a year. Only ever harvested one that looks like the one ADC got. We always called them salt and pepper. The different color phases always intrigued me. Thanks for sharing.
