Is this Swill .....the New Coors from the 70’s ? Us here, east of the Mississippi could only Dream of having a Coors beer back in the 1970’s

Yep, but once it became available then we found out that is just another generic run of the mill beer.

With all the variety that is available now in beers I don't know why anyone would drink just one beer and a average to poor tasting one at that.

Its like going to the whorehouse and using the services of the same girl all the time, especially when that girl is a Hillary Clinton twin.

Because when you're playing cards and want to put away a case, those sour bitter chunky beers you man bun sportin' prius drivers drink just play a little too rough the next morning.

man, guess not many here like a beer that has a big focus towards hunters, fisherman, and now farmers.

on a side note, what kind of beer do your guys prefer?

Don't know if they sold it back east, but any of you guys remember Smchitt (animal beer)? When I was a kid all the loggers and hunters drank animal beer, pretty sure the pictures on the cans sold the beer, because when I was old enough to try it I discovered the flavor certainly wasn't anything to write home about.

Schmidt brewery was based in PA., when I was a kid we used to get brewers grain to feed the cattle and hogs at the distillery, back in 1970's. Schmidt, Rolling Rock , Shaefer and Utica club were the beers I remember the old man drinking.

I like cheap, watered down, low-alcohol content, American-style lager, light beer. I've tried the fancy, expensive beers and some of them are pretty good. Most are just thick, nasty, bitter, brews. That IPA stuff is just plain awful.

Look down on me if you want, but I still like cheap, watery, beer.

Re: John Deere Busch light - 05/13/22 04:22 PM

Give me a cold beer after a long day's work and I won't give an opinion on the quality.

People have gotten too snotty about a simple thing. I like Guiness, I like Rainier, I like Coors and I like great Belgian ales.

God bless John Deere.

Put it in orange cans.

It'll cost less and be more reliably satisfying.

C Schmidt Brewery was the Philadelphia Pa Brewery. Jacob Schmidt brewery was from Wisconsin. It was bought out by Associated Brewing who was in turn bought by G Heilemann. Pfeifer of Detroit also had a scenic set of flat top cans that required a church key to open in the late 50's.
