I am wanting a way to run something like a fan or charge a cellphone when I'm camping. I have no clue if they work or what I would need to buy. Any help is appreciated.

Lay, I bought a baldr pioneer 330 power station. It’s battery pac that puts out 120volts it is charged by the sun or house power. It has a USB port and one 120 volt outlet. It works great I use it for a power source for my bee vaporizer. Make sure to get the solar panel w the unit. Cost around $500. But we’ll worth it.

Basically with a solar deal what your doing is used the pannel to charge a battery that then runs or charges your device I've ran a could different one and the best thing I found was to have a nice folding pannel set up a good portable batter pack it can charge and that's about it.teying to run directly from the pannel is a no go imo

I've got this phone size solar charger thing from the NRA when renewing. Basically a phone battery with a solar screen, It will recharge your phone, probably not much else, but it charges all day. No idea what it costs, but seeing how it was a "free" gift, probably not a lot.
