Lil bro gotta full ride !

Man it's crazy I swear this kid was just running around crying because I took his Gameboy and he just old me he's be accepted for a full ride at the college I went to but instead of welding he's getting a band scholarship! So proud of him to say the least ! And yeah he's my little bro but I know nothing little about him,kids about twice my side and powerlifting don't seem to help lol

I used to dismiss musicians as mere entertainers, court jesters if you will.
Now that I have known a few, I realize that there is something to the musically oriented mind that is very special.
One left what I would consider a lucrative job writing technical manuals for a major manufacturer of ag equipment to pursue his music career, another found great success in information security .
If the music doesn't pan out, his mind will take him to something that does.

Excellent -- has he decided what his major will be. Both of my kids got music scholarships -- my son (played trombone) went to school for the music technology (sound man) --- he now is a truck driver. my daughter(plays french horn) graduated with a mech engineering degree recently and is currently helping me out in my business. The scholarships made a huge difference i them getting their degrees -- even if they aren't using them currently.

Congratulations to your brother and folks. Now he'll have to keep up his grades in band, that's good, keep him focused. There's a ranch in our county that set up a foundation that grants 4 kids a full ride scholarship each year. My son got one, academic, so he has to keep those grades up to keep it.. Those scholarships are really nice for a kid
