Well I see the usual cycle is happening.... again 3 no 4 ? Mass shooting in these last 2 weeks ? Mmmhmm what's going on behind the scenes this time ? What's the government doing they don't want us to notice?
Fist a shooting where it was apparently racially backed where the shooter live streamed it to a twitch and who was taken in alive then one where the shooter was a trans teen and I super conservative state ?? All right when gas prices are soaring,where running out of baby formula,COVID is dying down and war in the Ukraine is dying in popularity.Call me a conspiracy theorist but..

They want Big D and gun control reps in Nov. They want people scared of random murderers to take some of the heat off fuel and grocery prices.

You're no more of a conspiracy theorist than the rest of us watching and scratching our heads. JMO, but what we're seeing isn't some global secret strategy with strings being pulled by a dark cabal but instead some form of mass hysteria insanity as the inevitable result of "progressive" ideology that destroys the moral underpinnings of judeochristian mores.
These horrific events are organic and of a totally voluntary nature when one removes all moral restraints from a society. Then in response the volume of accusation and acrimony rachets up and you get rinse cycle repeat.

I'm afraid we have but two courses of action to choose from. A restoration of norms by force or allowing the full cycle to play out until sanity returns when the actors have exhausted themselves and seek a new equilibrium. Neither option is ideal.

Doubt that kid was even a registered voter. Turned 18 about a week earlier. Just bought the rifle and vest.

He was on a mission. Such a shame. Why kill defenseless children if you are mad at society? Why?

U don't think with today's wisdom and knowledge that the powers in control can't find an answer to your questions if they wanted to? They won't even ask why or why the frequency is increasing. Agenda motive reaction is all we get from them.

The trite answer is that it does not fit their agenda but that's to simplistic as it assumes some sort of master plan. I'm firmly of the opinion that the left honestly has no clue as the "world view" that shapes their reality blocks any measure of reason or logic that would recognize that the inevitable result of such a "world view" is madness, chaos and the triumph of all that is evil.

While they accuse us of being mind numbed robots they truly have stripped their own minds of all modes of thought.

The left will scream for gun control but will be against arming well trained teachers, ex-military and/or using extra police in schools. Didn’t some of these whacked liberal school boards and administrations remove police officers from their schools during defund the police movement?

What have the democrats done in the last 4 years, policy wise, that makes you continually support them? I can't think of one thing I approve of that they did or want to do, so maybe you can point me to something you consider they did that was positive for us?

This morning, on the Brian Kilmeade show they mentioned that a lot of border patrol agents children went to that school. It's possible that's why that school was targeted. Border patrol agents were the first law enforcement officers on scene

Would not surprise me in the least when you consider the vitriol being spewed in their direction by the likes of AOC, Omar, the rest of the squad and the media.

Because it get's his name and face on the news. Something was seriously wrong with that kid as he shot his Granny before he went to the school. Ther'es no way to legislate mental conditions, so the only thing they can see and blame is the firearm, and by extension, US.

Granny was probably the only influence in his life trying to reel him in. When these nuts go full on they tend to cut that last tie to sanity.

I'll leave the conspiracy theories to y'all, but I did catch one interesting point reported by a local station. I don't know if it is true.

The local station said the rifle was a Daniel Defense. I shoot Daniel Defense rifles and know how much they cost. It is curious that a crazy 18 year old would buy a $2,000 gun to shoot up a school when a $600 gun would have sufficed.

Again, I don't know if it is true. If true, it is odd.

And, he had body armor. That's two in a row. I bet we start hearing more about banning body armor, again.

If true that is indeed odd. DD is made here in Georgia and is considered high end as they are a DOD contractor/supplier for some of the hush hush type operators.

On the body armor thing. Why if the end goal is to not be taken alive? Prolong the fight and hope to take law enforcement with you? That doesn't seem to be a high percentage thing for most of these maniacs.

It also adds to the total cost of the operation. Where are these animals getting their funding?

I read his grandmother used to work ther and he knew how to get in what doors to use. I thin it was more familiarity than anything.

Nothing pulls at the heart strings like a bunch of dead kids. And killing kids is something the sick people really like. So they get 2 for one. Dead kids and further disarmament so they can get more control.

50 years ago that guy would have been committed involuntarily by a judge and a psycho babbler to a state hospital. Would likely have been there for decades. Arming people in our schools may lower the body count. It wont eliminate it. More guns is no more a solution than less guns.

It may have helped in this case. Just came out that the cops were there outside for 40 minutes while he went on his rampage and didn't go in. Some armed teachers may have helped.
