the "cancellation" of Confederate generals - 05/25/22 09:38 PM

I probably should say the "continued" attempted cancellation of Confederate generals. My Army kid told me this morning that Congress is planning to rename the Southern military bases that have Confederate general names. He said Ft. Bragg is supposed to become Ft. "Liberty". As if they don't have much more important things to do. What losers, almost all 535 of them...

Already started.
Hmm, didn't some folks try to rewrite/erase history in the past?

Might just as well get rid of this. A statue of a Union soldier in my town. It will tell an incomplete story when the left removes what they find offensive. [Linked Image]

Get rid of it all so we can start ripping down the Lincoln monument and everything else. Got to make room for our new Chinese dictator statue's that coming soon to a town near you. Just need to print a few more Trillion of borrowed money and we'll be owned by them.

At some point conservatives need to just say no and stand our ground. I don't particularly care if they rename military bases named after Southern generals, but every inch the left takes motivates them to take more.

My great grandfather and his brother fought for the Union. His brother in law was killed at Cold Harbor, his brother was wounded twice. It was a terrible war, however I believe that removing confederate statues and general's names from military bases is dead wrong. These things are part of their history and not be destroyed.
