I'm SOOO EXCITED!

My neighbor has some donkeys and he had a mama that didn't want her baby.

So he's bottle feeding him but is busy and just doesn't have time..SO..I'm getting him.

I'm gonna raise him till he's weaned then he's gonna take him back. It works for me cause I get to baby him and then give him back..kinda like a grandma.

Jerry ain't to happy but Im Thrilled.

Probably not bu it t that was my idea because I know when he gets bigger he might be over aggressive and could hurt me not meaning to. He only be half a mile away as the crow flies so I can go see him often.

He has 10 other ones so it works for everyone.

Jerrys not exactly on board but we have 2 lambs too right now so it's not a big deal.

I've never raised one and am excited to give it a go.

When I first saw it the other day ..before I knew I was getting it..I said oh I want him. And he's little so he won't take up much space in th bed.lol

I to Jerry I was takin him.in tractor supply with me.

Ill teach him to lead which will be helpful.to Johnwhen he goes back on the farm.too and I'll tie him.out some.so he gets used to that too and won't fight a rope.

I'm so excited that I forgot to put my patient's underwear on him when I was. Dressing him after his shower...then I put his shoes on th wrong feet..and THEN I forgot to comb his hair. Lol. We got a good laugh out of it.

They're cute even when they get big, the minis anyway, There is a small herd where my daughter has her horses, they kind of roam around looking for handouts, hook them on treats and they'll be your bodyguards, lol

He's gonna be alot of fun. I can feel it in my bones

He had a touch of scours day before yesterday but a held back a feeding and went back to straight goats.milk and he's doing good again.

Hes also .lipping grain and eating some.grass.and hay.

If you got access to goats milk, and like ice cream, make a batch of ice cream substituting goat milk for cream. I dont like to just drink it but it makes delicious ice cream.

Jerry lives ice cream. I'll have to reynthat. I was looking at my crank ice cream maker yaleaterday thinking I need to make some.

Danny what's your recipe for ice cream? Or anyone else for that matter for homemade ice cream?

So your recipes call for eggs?

4 egg yolks
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 cup goats milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Mix the egg yolks and sugar in sauce pan. Heat the milk in a separate pan until it just simmers then stir it into the egg yolk sugar mix. Heat it to 165F. Don't boil it. Put it in the fridge awhile. Needs to be at least down to 65. Colder is fine. Add the goat milk , vanilla and put it in your ice cream maker.

That's not ice cream that's frozen custard.
