Yellowstone entrances are all closed and river flood warnings here too. Cool weather has slowed runoff or it would have been ugly here for sure. Warming back up towards midweek so it'll come up again before this weekend. This time last year everything was dust. I'll take the water over that.

You should probably use vacation days. I think you could make it if you really wanted. smirk

Now there's 2 bridge's out before you can get to the washed out road.
On the highway that semi's and buses go on.
And one bridge and some culverts on the back gravel road.

Still 80 miner's at work can't get home, and a bunch of campers and hickers trapped up in the camp grounds.
They are slowly bringing them out in rafts.

WOW! Seen a couple other bridge-out pics today for MT, but hadn't seen this one yet. Thanks for sharing. Hope work starts back up for ya before too long. Be safe.

Hey Chad did you see the map in the billings gazette with the snow pack in Montana now! Pretty crazy for this time of year. We get all our water out of the Bighorns and the snow pack is something like 1700 percent of normal right now. The Tongue came up another thousand CFPS today. I am a little worried when we hit a 100 degrees in a few days!

Both these roads are north of town along stillwater river, and lead to most of our trapping grounds.
They are the least of worries to the county works they got alot of Bridges need fixed first.
