Used to, 20 years ago, Hopewell area.
Now, they are all around me, so dont need to travel.

My childhood friend in Va. Can see the James out his window and he doesnt fish it. Too many contaminents as far as he is concerned.

Im not looking to eat them. Just want to catch large blue cats. We release the fish after the fight.

The James is a long river in my mind @ least. It crosses a large swath of Virginia.

We don’t fish the James. We do fish the Potomac and do very well on Blue Cats. Anywhere below Fletchers Boat house in Dc they can be caught. The Potomac will save you a couple hours of travel. PM me if you need places to fish. Boat or Kayak Canoe.
