I am going to take a wild guess and say that you Lugnut, voted for Romney as president. Doesn't matter that politically he and Obama are no different. Romney has an R after his name so you voted for him?????????????????????????????

Apolgies are needed to the good folks from KY...Rep. KATKO is from NY. He's retiring after this term. Probably going to be replaced by a Dem, but at least we know what to expect, instead of that turncoat POS. He has never represented our best interests. Never.

Lugnut, your list of Representatives is outdated. The MN reps haven't been in office for years.

Shelly Moore Capito is a traitor to West Virginia. I've written her several times , always get an answer . This time , I wrote to tell her we're ashamed of her vote , and will probably vote libertarian , not a peep out of her .

Just pointing out the obvious that you seem to ignore. Every single Democrat representative and senator voted for this bill, every single one. How come you never point out the "slimy low lifes" on that side of the aisle?

Your attempt to categorize and insult me by my assumed voting record is laughable.

You know, I don’t see much hope with the new election system in our state. It will be interesting to see how the election to fill Don’s vacancy goes this August.

I think all of us KNOW that every Dem is going to vote against everything we hold dear. It kind of goes without saying, doesn't it?

To me, the slimy RINO Republicans are way worse than the Dems. The Dems at least shout from the rooftops that they're gonna take our guns and murder their own babies. The Rinos are sneaky and slimy and betray their own people.

Nailed it.

I expect an enemy combatant to be my enemy. The guy who claims to be on "your side" that stabs you in the back when you need them most... That's treachery. And those committing it deserve all the horrors of Hades visited upon them.

However I am cautiously hopeful that the latest SCOTUS 2A decision can be used to gut whatever legislation these clowns helped pass... Then they can be voted out and become unemployed without having accomplished anything.

Problem is.....we can only vote for people that run. Look at our choice here in Pa. for example, Oz or a democrat.

Pretty much have to vote for a guaranteed gun grabber or a possible one.

Get rid of mitch ? are you crazy. The highest ranking senate member is in your state and you want to get rid of him ??
You crazy. PLus just couple weeks ago you guys were praising him for blocking something . You all crack me up. Lot of things Mitch and Repubs have blocked or voted against and they are wonderful. You are sounding more and more like the dems. If someone doesn't belive like you they are a "communist " or worst .
Still waiting on an answer as how this bill prevents you guys from buying any gun for sale. OR better yet how it prevents you from "KEEPING " the ones you have.

REMEMBER Mitch is the one that pushed the SCOTUS vote thru so the SCOTUS could approve the new gun bills in NY !!! LOL Same as the other repubs someone listed to badmouth !!!!

Which way do you want it? Be careful what you ask for...

Without term limits, 2 for house and one for senate.....things will continue becoming socialist until it is over for the USA. At this point even a constitutional convention would not help. Small victories (which we have seen lately) do not win a war. November will tell the tale of how much time we have left.

Joni was on the Radio the other morning...All about Domestic crime and Mental health funding. She also kinda sorta maybe indicated that if there were amendments in the house her vote could/would change.

Respectful messages to her Phone/Email is a good idea.

I will look hard at any Primary challenger she has next cycle.

What was he supposed to do to keep trump in. It was trumps federal judges that decided it was a fair election. ZERO voter fraud. We all know it happened but without a judges decision to follow up on the investigation NO ONE not even Mike pence could "lift a finger" Your blame game to Mitch for that action is wrong..

There was not ANY investigations when all the judges and Bill Barr made their statements. When they ALL said they didn’t see any voter fraud, they were right, THEY DIDN'T LOOK! The problem is they think we are all stupid. If you can’t see through their lies YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION, PERIOD!

I'll tell you where in this bill I see the greatest danger.

It is in the section that addresses......actually it DOESN'T address......what is a "commercial sale" of a firearm. It is going to be left up to BATFE to determine what that is. Is it a commercial sale that requires a license and a 4473 if you sell your rifle to your neighbor or your brother AND make a profit ? What if you sell two guns but lose money ?

The potential for abuse is HUGE IMO

How ?

By not certifying the fraudulent electoral votes...my understanding is that the issue then goes for a state by state vote of the state legislators. Feel free to correct me...

Which states submitted "fraudulent" votes ? Were they not all certified by their respective state legislatures ? Did any state submit more than one slate of electors ?

Quite a few states submitted fraudulent votes and those votes were not certified by their state legislation as far as I know. They were certified by the states federal legislators. Pence could have refused to certify the whole electoral vote as I understand that issue. Then it goes to each state legislation.

Correct me if I am wrong.

WHOA wait a minute . I never said mcconell or ANY congress member wasn't corrupt or crooked. That's why they are politicians! What I'm saying is who has done anything about Trump not being president. NO ONE ! You mouth about mitch voting on one subject but forget he is the MAIN reason scotus is 6-3 conservative. Congress is supposed to follow the constitution. The voting laws are plain as day . NO corruption no reason to declare the election un fair or illegal.
Yea and Obummer wasn't a US citizen so what . Think if you look lot of politicians aren't native to the states they serve.

I am asking about electoral votes submitted to Congress. Were any of those "fraudulent" ? Did any state submit more than one slate of electors ? Were they not all certified by their respective legislatures ?

I can't think of any off the top of my head but I may be mis-remembering.

I can't see that Pence had anything to contest.....or that he had any constitutional function other than "opening" the certificates submitted by the states.

As far as I recall, the states had certified their electoral counts, and no courts had halted the meeting of the electors or the reporting of their votes. Given the mandate of the 12th Amendment, which requires that “the votes shall then be counted,” Pence was obliged to count the votes as submitted by the states.

And those politicians are not required by law to have been born in those states. But don't let pesky facts and details destroy your argument. Just switch to something else and deflect it the Democrat way.

Based on what?

Like I said SEVERAL of the federal judges declared "no evidence of voter fraud. Not enough to change the out come was how they phrased it. He didn't have aleg to stand on and he was smart enough to know it. It sucks it does but I'm pretty sure it was the north and west that voted biden in . But just saying.

There's 18 members of congress serving right now that weren't even born in the US !!!
Not born in the state they serve would be pretty common I bet.

You don't have to be born in the USA to be in Congress, but the POTUS does

Didn't some states illegally change the voting rules and went on to elect a Dem. O Snap as right in that some states were never investigated .Can't see if you don't look.

As for the guns, even though the changes may be minimal and not effect everyone, any loss opens the door further. Look at Canada. Can't give them an inch imo.

The courts found no significant fraud....well the courts also just overturned a big decision it made many years ago so the courts are not infallible. White, I may have misunderstood the Pence role perspective. Thanks for that information.

I believe that up to 15 million votes for biden were illegal votes. Which brings his tally to a believable number.. 66 million. Similar to barack and hillary.

Yes it certainly seems that happened but that still does not give Pence any basis to reject the certificates that were certified and sent by the states. If there had been more than one slate of electors sent from a state, or some differences between state and federal courts in a particular state then MAYBE there would have been an opening for contesting that state's electors. But that still doesn't mean it would have been up to Pence.

The Constitution and the 12th amendment and the Electoral Vote Count Act all seem to be either ambiguous or unconstitutional in the case of the EVCA. I can't see any way that the framers would have given control of the election to a person ( Pence) who was also on the ballot. Nor can I imagine them giving congress the authority to choose the president as that would make the executive branch subservient to the legislative branch.....with the exception of a tie in the electoral vote.

So it is my opinion that any discrepancy like that would need to be decided by the courts before one slate of electors was proven valid.

The evidence was there. The media and anyone else was selling the information on the fraud were kooks and it was all false information. Investigative reporters were branded and weren’t allowed a platform. The election was the continuation of Russia gate.

NOW people are looking and listening and it’s too bad that in time the truth WILL come out. In the mean time we ALL are suffering the consequences of a STOLEN ELECTION.

I HAVE NEVER IN ALL MY YEARS FILLED MY TRUCK AND EACH GALLON WAS 1-$5.00 bill and 2 quarters and a dome and a nickel. JUST THINK ABOUT THAT AND HOW LONG IT TAKES YOU TO MAKE THAT……STOLEN ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!

NEXT TIME YOU GET GAS PAY IN CASH. USING A CREDIT CARD DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE SAME FEELING!

Just pointing out the obvious that you seem to ignore. Every single Democrat representative and senator voted for this bill, every single one. How come you never point out the "slimy low lifes" on that side of the aisle?

Your attempt to categorize and insult me by my assumed voting record is laughable.
