Looks like a Norway or a sugar maple. Picture of the buds or seeds would give it away.

Norway maple leaves are bigger (with much larger stems) than sugar (hard) maple leaves, but are similar in shape.

The Norway maples have a milky sap on the stems of actively growing leaves. Pull a leaf off of a growing twig, and you'll see the milky sap of a Norway Maple.

Other non-maple trees have milky sap; but if you have a maple-like leaf with milky sap, it's very likely a Norway maple.
