Honda 520 pioneer UTV. - 06/25/22 11:49 PM

Anyone have 1, thought good - bad. Have a 2018 Rubicon, think this make work better as the years come on. Us quad n cart now to take care of horse, haul wood , Etc. Don’t want a big machine size wise. Never been around utv.

I have a 2019 500. Same thing minus the dump bed and 20cc Awesome little utv. They arent fast but fast enough at 40. Basically a foreman atv running gear. Tried an true with no belts to slip or burn up. They are tippy because of being so narrow but can fit where most utvs won't. The air intake is in a bad spot and tends to dust up the filter quickly. (I'm buying a snorkel to get the intake up an out of the dust or hi water). Fuel vent line will allow water in fuel tank if you mistake a creek crossing depth a little.....been there. All in all I love my little pioneer it's not a play toy but an actual workable lil wheeler that gets around great

That would be a great improvement. Where they had the intake b4 is the WORST possible location.

I much prefer a utv over a quad. I have a John Deer gator TX. Max speed is 20mph but I can hall wood untill it falls off, have v am electric dump bed that has lifted everything I tried to dump. It's only 2wd with differential lock but still does all I ask of it after changing tires out to nice mud tires.

Inhale been looking at the pioneer 700 4 seaters for a replacement but none are to be found in stock. You can't go wrong with a Honda.

I have a friend with one I drove the other day. I am thinking about getting one. I thought it shifted hard but n automatic. Yet the paddle shifters worked flawlessly. His main complaint was the stiffness of the ride. Problem is finding them in stock anywhere. I69 motors won’t even take your money because they can’t guarantee you would get one within a year.

I have a 2018 pioneer 500 and my only complaint was the stiff ride. I changed to after market shocks and it helped a lot with the ride. Also pulled the sway bar that helped some too.
It will never ride like the big machines but they can't go on the mountain ATV trails that I ride. Also look into moving the air intake up if you ride a lot of dusty roads and trails. The air filter
will stay a lot cleaner with the move.

I just picked up a Honda 700-3 UTV to replace an ATV that I was trapping off of. I had trapped from a UTV for other people and that made my mind up, I'm staying with a UTV. The drivetrain in a Honda makes it a no brainer for me. I wanted the Honda 1000 but the 700 came in first. Now the other dealer called and said I'm next on the list for the 1000 and it should be in next week. I will probably sell the 700 now, it has 10-15 miles on it. I hope I can get my money back on it.
