Jonsered 625 II Chainsaw - 06/27/22 02:02 AM

Just acquired one in good shape. Was hoping that someone out there owns one and could tell me what the correct fuel mix ratio is? Many Thanks, Tater

Its just a Husky in a different color, so 1:50 high quality two smoke oil mix using ethanol free go go juice will do you just fine. Or just buy those little bottles of oil from Husquwarna or stihl that are made to be mixed with 2 1/2 gallons of gas and save yourself the measuring and math.

That should be a great saw Tater I'd also recommend 1:50 or a slight bit heavy on the oil since our fuel so dry .
Then full skip chain and your set for making a lot of wood chips fly !

Have a great summer !

I run 3 oz to a gallon in everything except antiques. KIS.
After tearing down several high hour 2 strokes,
still oil is banned from my property.
They do make some great machines.

I been using Stihl oil since the early 80s. What problems did it give you? Jonsered 625s and 630s are quite capable of cutting timber, I have 3- they are my go to saws.

Carbon or crud build up then flaking then scoring.
Started life using echo, then stihl because of convenience,
then back to echo by the gallon.
I've not tried them all,
this works best for me.

I run husqvarna in my husqvarnas and my stihls. Husqvarna dealer is local so is local hardware store that carries Husqvarna products never had issues using it. Stihl has been in the game a long time I’m sure there oil is just fine as well just stay away from the cheap stuff.

I had a Jonsered 49er back in the day. Great saw. Then they went out of business I guess. Now, I own several Stihls. I buy the quart cans of pre-mix. Spendy, but you don't have to worry about running Sta-bil through them when you put them away for winter. Plus, they run great on that stuff.

The owners manual for that saw calls for 50:1
