Watched this guy catch and eat a dragonfly just before this pic was taken. Can anyone ID this guy?

brown crested fly catcher? Canada outside its normal range apparently.

It didn't make a noise while we were there but I have heard a call like you describe on that property before.
Most flycatchers I am familiar with are much smaller than this guy. Thanks for the help.
