What I do know, is that Jesus is always the smartest guy in the room. And for me, he makes his view clear in Matthew 25.

I'm at work so limited on time. They didn't have mini guns and thermal 200 years ago. But they did have walls and laws that when broken had harsh and swift penalties. Out government continually works to circumvent our constitution and longer enforce or follows the laws and that cost it's legitimacy. Those very things are the reason the 2nd was put in place so the people have the power to correct the problems.

The New Testament was the fulfillment of the Old Testament. Jesus came up with some pretty specific instructions for His followers….

Jesus in Luke 10 goes on to tell us who are neighbors are.
