George Kortum in Anaconda most likely will have tanned pelts for sale.
As far as live animals, maybe at a zoo or wild animal park. Montana winters are too cold for them to survive in the wild.

A northern zoo has a description of the animal. Southern zoo has a recipe.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I ask is because Montana now has a trapper ed course and part of that course it shows you a picture of a nutria and description. I was just wondering where in Montana I could find these critters to trap.

Rumor has it they are being introduced along the Clark Fork in Missoula so they have some "watchable wildlife".

Montana is being proactive! Anticipating the invasion by nutria as a result of the coming global warming events.
