Swamp Cat.

Seen a cat today while heading out on the creek.



This yolk leaped out of the swamp while I was unloading the canoe and slowly walked across the road in front of the truck,then leaped across the ditch into the swamp on the other side.

Took a few pics from the canoe.

Looks like a great day to me!

lynx or bobcat?

Looks lynx to me. Hips taller than shoulders and look at the feet on that dude..!

Lynx-no bobcat here.
The summer fur on lynx is a reddish brown colour-more like a bobcat fur.
Totally different from the silver white fur of a dec or jan lynx.
He must have cleared 30 feet when he jumped from the road into the bush on the far side of the ditch.

Makes sense now . Totally different looking from nov-dec.
