Alternative castor markets

Alternative castor markets - 07/27/22 04:12 PM

We're hearing that the castor market is sliding a bit so it made me think about what alternatives we may have in selling our castor next year.

What about castor scented candles? Castor infused soaps? Castor flavored spirits? Medicine for those inclined to believe in natural remedies? Straight up tinctures for sale?

I'll be with a little marketing savvy some of the value added products may go well if the effort was put out.

There is someone in either Vt. or NH. that make castor infused whiskey. Hopefully another member will chime in.

I think they use it to make vanilla- probably not the kind I can afford.

Interesting stuff Tatiana. I know I'm not the only one that really enjoys the odor which is why I was thinking infused candles or soaps. Come to think of it....a castor scented candle would put me in the mood...if nothing else, the mood to catch some more beaver!
