I try to back into parking lot spaces anymore because if I pull in it never seems to fail when backing out of one some idiot gasses on it to get past me when I am halfway out. How daggum small is your deductible to do something that stupid?

I park further away from the door so I don't have the competition for the prime spot to deal with.

It may be more of a brain size issue.

I enjoy sitting in the parking lot of a fitness center in my truck watching those arriving at the fitness center drive around several times attempting to get a parking spot close to the door .

I've seen that too , funny.

However , I've seen a hand full of people there purposely park all the way at the bottom ( slight hill ) and walk up to the fitness center. I think those are the really smart ones.

I park in the back by no one. Then some idiot parks right next to me when there are parking spots open all around. I don't get it.

I park out in what we refer to as Truck parking

far enough out you can pull through and proper truck parking etiquette is you alternate so that you are not door to door with any of your "friends" in truck parking

this is very similar to public rest room urinal etiquette , never go elbow to elbow with someone if there is an option not to

face it you needed the walk any way

heck after I roll out after a long drive and get walking again I can walk darn right normal again by the door of the store.

I tell my kids , you've heard the song "Give me 3 steps" well as you get older the song changes to , "give me 30 yards , to walk right again" after a few hours of driving.

Drive a beater and park next to cart rack. There almost always open spot there unless I'm parked in it.

Hoss, I also back into parking spaces. Makes it strategically easier to get out in an emergency. As well as being able to see who's walking or driving up past you.

And I do look for end of row space or next to a cart rack. Sometimes the pulling out makes it a little harder to turn into the right direction for that lane, but it's worth it.

I think my D. is $500.

Parking lots scare me more than any other driving.

Sad part is, that’s not even the dumbest thing I see drivers do on a daily basis.

I try to pick a lane I can back into also .That makes it a better chance the if someonme parks beside me there is less chance they will crowd me
