"Canadian Prime Minister says his party is preparing legislation to ban knives! Mass stabbings have no place in Canada, the Canadian Constitution provides no legal right to its citizens for owning knives. Knives will be gathered up by the RCMP, and SPOONS with a serrated edge will be used for all cutting needs." The Globe and Mail reports

Your police officers stood behind closed doors while a gunman shot up a school not too long ago. Not sure what you’re trying to get at.

A person that wants to kill people will find a way. Doesn’t matter what the laws are.

Sometimes a bystander can help, sometimes not.

You are right. Sissies will not act. And people will bludgeon others with rocks.

Why disarm the individual citizen? If the citizen has the right to carry he or she does not have to be a bystander.

And laws don’t matter? That is so far beyond my comprehension. You lost me there with that statement.

Ugh, if you think that there were no firearms present and available in the homes of most of the victims here then you guys are really unaware of what First Nations homes on reserves may be like.

I guess when you go around in the middle of the night attacking people who are not expecting it, in like 20 different locations, you can do some serious damage.

It’s like assuming people in the US are never murdered when they have a gun in their home. Lol

Firearms in your home lockes up do you no good. That's why I keep one on my hip loaded and ready. It's not likely I will ever need it but if I do it's there. I wish everyone had that option if they wanted to.

Hope they are apprehended or killed before they can hurt anyone else.

The idea that firearms were locked up in each home is laughable PF, seriously, you have no clue. I could show up at 20 farms today and find guns not under lock and key in most of them.
Posted By: Shakeyjake

Re: Canadian knife attack - 09/05/22 02:16 PM

If there were firearms involved at any point by the 2 individuals, the feds/RCMP white shirts would certainly want to keep that on the down low. Very different laws. Natives are allowed to use guns that are prohibs for anyone else.
Know of a guy here who lost his guns for 2 years for a minor domestic. Another fella killed a guy. Judge says a 20 year weapons prohib because of what he did and his mental instability……however, he can use guns for hunting purposes.

At least they were quicker with the public warnings. In Nova Scotia the RCMP boss said they didn’t want to warn the public about a lunatic impersonating an officer was going around killing people randomly because it could put the other officers at risk!

On another note, remember the Afghan who killed an American with a grenade over there, A medic I think?….Canada welcomed him home and gave him $10 million…..
We’ve been screwed here for a long time….

Very true. And it's the pause in not wanting to kill anyone in defense that makes victims. People don't understand the nature of themselves in that, in the moment of truth, they will have to push through that pause, focus their aim, and pull the trigger. Especially against someone with a knife.

You can have lawyers discuss who gets paid for defense and prosecution or you can be buried. You have to pull the trigger. Both results suck but one you live, the other you die.

When it comes to dying, it is better him than me.

I hope this guy gets gut shot with a 22.

People get exercised over botched executions by lethal injection. Not me. If someone has done something heinous to warrant the death penalty, they can use 87 octane gas in the IV as far as I'm concerned. A comfortable departure from this life isn't high on my priority list.

Wow you missed the point of that completely. Can you legally carry a gun on yourself for self defense in the rare chance you may walk into a situation like this? No you can't, infact you can't legally use a gun to defend yourself or family even if your at home and can get to one.

. I have no idea how they hurt so many and are not caught or dead yet. I figured Canadians were all tough like baco and would quickly had a snare wrapped around their neck, or grabbed them up by the scruff of the neck and walked them to the jail.

Honestly I don't know. The restrictions they live under are normal to them but very different from the ones I have lived under my life. Mine are much less restricted but I'm still restricted.

Re: Canadian knife attack - 09/05/22 08:44 PM

We're allowed to use reasonable force. If that means shooting somebody then it's up to the courts to decide.
We have had people use guns for self defense and, after a long length battle in court, get off just fine.

Despite what trudeau says. It can still happen. Although, I would not advise it.
Posted By: Shakeyjake

Re: Canadian knife attack - 09/05/22 09:33 PM

Exactly. Trudeau wasn’t happy with the bushie outcome……but there is the rare case when it turns out right.
As for not finding them yet. Easy. A buddy cab hide them for a bit in the basement. Look at the kids from Vancouver who went on a little killing spree. Covered a lotta ground in some remote areas but eventually the bugs of northern Manitoba got em….lol. These kids were survival experts too. They read a lotta books on it. Like me being an expert trapper cuz I’ve read piles of books, we’ll find out soon…lol

Re: Canadian knife attack - 09/06/22 01:27 PM

It is very sad

dead people is dead people and don't think it couldn't happen on this side of the border it has maybe not in those exact numbers it just doesn't fit the narrative so it gets little air time in the US news.

when you disarm through Language, policy and persecutions. telling people they can't defend themselves they listen.

sadly the right to defense isn't well understood it is an inalienable right the government doesn't give it too you it persecutes you for using or being ready to use it. in hope of convincing others they don't have it.

your being a Man (women included) gives you the right you only need take and secure it for yourself.

Ladies and Gents on both sides of the 49th take care of you and maybe we can make this a better world.

Re: Canadian knife attack - 09/06/22 03:52 PM

If you shoot and kill a person, even if defending yourself or others, in Canada, be prepared to use a PILE of your monies for legal fees. In some cases probably most Canadians would become destitute.

Posted By: MB Coonguy

Re: Canadian knife attack - 09/06/22 05:13 PM

not so far-his time is coming-everyone in the country is watching for him-although if he gets caught alive Trudope will probably say he feels sorry for him and give him a leaner sentence-or if he gets shot by the cops-the policeman or woman will get in more trouble than the criminal does. We live in such a weird time-the innocent are more likely to go to jail than the repeat offenders if they do defend themselves or their family.

the flip side of De-fund , is to just make them all quietly quit , retire , or never join up in the first place ,as they are fed up , it leaves only the bad officers who might be there for the wrong reasons then that makes anyone left look bad when they do a poor job or bad things , rinse and repeat till there is nothing left of the police.
