Los Angeles robber gets a mistrial - 09/07/22 06:02 PM
Reason - the judge said the robber and ex-con who committed the armed robbery of a McDonald's didn’t get enough sleep in the county jail to think straight for the trial. During the robbery, the robber told the manager of the store to hurry up or I will blow your brains out. I wonder if his victims are sleeping well after their traumatic encounter with the robber. The judge blamed the jail for the man’s lack of sleep.

I read the article, and it sounded legit. Cops stuffed him in 8x8 room with nothing, had to sleep on the floor, no blanket or pillow.

The media reported it. Nough said.

Judge bought it, so I'd say it was true enough! Those are the kind of Cop's that think their badge gives them a pass to do anything they want.

Too bad the manager couldn't have pulled a gun and made the scum bag assume room temperature. Problem solved.

I have to do important things with a lack of sleep all the time. Sounds like he was in a suicide cell must have been acting badly in jail as well. No consequences for bad decisions anywhere these days.

The judge and his father, a congressman, are progressives who endorsed George Gascon. Another enough said.

It’s coming, for everybody including judges.

This should be outlawed, because for one he had a lawyer. 2 His lack of sleep doesnt negate the fact that he did indeed commit the crime. The judge should be admonished by the state for the politics, even if there is or was a problem with inmates getting adequate sleep.

That thief better never join the military. I think their whole premise is seeing how much can be done with how little sleep one can get.

That's the new normal. Let the criminals go.It's good for more votes. This is being done everywhere any more.Illegals go to courtfor breaking a law, and let go without even a fine.Never sent back where they came from. That's how Hitler took power, that's how our present government is operating .
