Gutzon Borglum was the sculptor and artist and Italian stone carver , Luigi Del Bianco- led the carving after dynamite and jack hammers roughed it out.

Unfortunately in today's society the so called leaders are too busy figuring out ways to get all the money they can while using their position of power to chest we the people Any statue of many of our leaders would belong in the deepest part of the ocean .
