UUps - 09/17/22 04:49 PM

I got this thing all the way from Hilton Head island to my house. But it got real loud when I pulled into my drive way and made a scraping sound for the last quarter mile of gravel road ..... I don't know anything about boat trailers , but something seems off.

I think the lack of snow is your problem.

Why do you mean something seems off? The boat is still on the trailer!

My wife says if it's still going forward it's okay to keep driving. Pay no attention to noises and shaking more rpms are the answer

Maybe if you jack it up you could get a better look under it and get a better idea?

The last 3500 lb axel I bought with breaks a few months back was $950 .

It's fine. Just back it in a little further.

That would be slick for shallow water launches

Backing down the ramp might be a problem tho!

Put it in reverse and back up fast. If it hangs up give it more gas and it will pop loose.

I think the pickup truck is a Ford. What was the question?

That one side appears higher than the other. Easy fix, just keep driving until it levels out.

Re: UUps - 09/17/22 11:30 PM

By pure coincidence I found a round black thing this morning at the top of my drive way that looks exactly like the one the trailer has on the other side.

Joking aside, I am sure glad that did not happen on the interstate. as that would have been a heck of a carfuffle to get my big trailer to load that one on etc. Ant the axle and wheel that went AWOL could have cause some damage to others on the road as well.
