looking for Bible verse for granddaughter...

so, when my grandson was born nearly two years ago, I had a Buck Ranger knife engraved with his name on the scale and "Matthew 6:33" engraved on the blade.

New granddaughter on the way, so I'm looking for suggestions for which verse to reference on her knife's blade.

(wanting to treat them alike)

There are no bad Bible verses of course but some are more relevant to particular circumstances.

The foundational text in the OT is Exodus 34:6 when God gives a glimpse of Himself to Moses and tells us all;
The Lord God is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth;

We can't love someone we don't know, so this revelation is the key to all of the OT and on into the New Covenant in Christ Jesus.
