MO archery tag is not bad for 2 deer and 2 turkeys around $250. I’ll wait until mid Oct so it’s a little closer to the rut then. He has my cabin all set up (Jerry’s Roost) he calls it. LOL Just a good excuse to spend time with a friend we have been chasing turkeys for over 40 years since I need to work on the fur shed this winter no better time then now to plan a trip.

I think the fence needs to be higher, they can jump right over it. Lol
I would shoot either of those ones.

He probably needs another year. Lol
My first thought when I see a deer anymore but if that one is as nice as it looks things might change quickly. LOL

Halloween is the magic week most years for the rut. Depending on the weather. Mid October is a bit early to see much chasing. North Missouri anyway.

I would shoot any of the deer in that picture and chunk 'em into a pot of chili LOL... but if I shot either of those 2 bucks in the foreground I'd probably be on here bragging about it.
Get after 'em

The buck that I wanted was killed last weekend in youth season so it would be a lot easier to kill either one of those. Looks like you have a great place to hunt.

That doe behind the fence looks like good eating. Bucks look like a lot of burger

The week of October the 15th is suppose to be the best here for archery. Gonna be trail caming this weekend to see what’s out there. Outside of the Doe and her two fawns that pass by the cabin in the mornings I haven’t seen a lot of deer.

Dont take thw advice of the wait another year people ,Take him now you wont regret it it . Good Luck I let one walk last fall because it was closing time in a minute or two ,Next morning he was dead ,Killed by a neighbor a quarter mile away .
