He is an E9, getting in a few big hunts before hanging up the military.

Or the postman!
I’m not sure which. Nothing stops him, hunting son of a gun for sure.
I’m thinking a grizzly hunt with him and his brothers in the near future while the old man can still hold his own. I hope.

Well, that settles it then. He is definitely a chip off the old block then. You NEED to go on that hunt but bring a rifle, not your stick and string!

That's an awful nice moose and you must be quite proud of him making E-9. That's pretty much the 1%s club. He did good.

Thats a very impressive looking moose. Looks like a job just packing out those antlers.

Great hunt, great memories and thank you for your son's service.

If that’s pretty nice I’d hate to see good or great, lol!
And please tell the Master Chief or Master Gunnery Sergeant or Sergeant Major or Chief Master Sergeant thank you for his service!

No, just under 66. The palms needed a few points to get out to the magic 70’s. Terrific trophy anyway.

Thanks Posco. I am extremely proud of him. From a tough kid (ahem) he really pulled it together. Does a ton for his guys and community.
He’s one to go over the mountain with, sadly too soon age is taking those journeys with him away from me.

Hope to get it arranged Rob… no, no string and stick for me on that one. There’s a member here that I’d like to have along as well, he’s pretty big on the stick and string program. We’ll see.
