My grand daughter is in serious trouble

Guys I know some of you are prayer warriors and you're needed now.

My 10-month old grand daughter is in the ICU in Mayo clinic. She's been there a week and is fighting for her life. She ate some fake cobweb Halloween decorations at daycare and it almost killed her. No one knew what was wrong with her for a couple days. By the time anyone realized what was wrong, most of her stomach and intestines were ruined and had to be removed. The first night the doctors said she probably wouldn't make it, but she pulled through. She is still alive and fighting infection, blood clots and a fever. Yesterday she opened her eyes when her brother started talking to her. We are holding on to hope.

Her name is River Barringer and is the youngest of my son Ben. There's been a lot of sobbing in our family but we are holding out hope that she lives and that they will be able to come up with ways that she can have a life as normal as possible. We need a miracle.

Not just praying but calling out to God with tears in my eyes and breaking heart that his will will be healing of your precious granddaughter and comfort your family. As a father of 4 and one of them died from injuries in an auto wreck at 16 months old my heart is breaking for your family..

That you hold her and knowing that gives her family comfort LOARD and that they run and cling to you God. Please don't let them run from you like I did for the time I did. She made it through another night. Blood clots are a problem in her legs, they have to use blood thinners very sparingly due to the surgery.

She's still battling. Lived through another day. They are dealing with blood clots and infection but they can't use much blood thinner because of the surgery. Every single day is a blessing and one step towards recovery.

My wife is going to spend the weekend with her at Mayo because my daughter-in-law (River's mother) has to be in her sister's wedding this weekend. That will be hard for everyone.

Update: She was able to eat some baby food and it passed through her okay, which is good. The blood clots and infection are a little better and they are keeping the fever down. They still do not know exactly where the infection is coming from. She is awake and alert at times. Every day she lives is one step closer. My wife is going to Mayo to spend the weekend with her I will know a lot more then.

Wife and I have been praying.

I ve been praying every day,, and quite often daily for god to please intervene and heal this child. The ultimate creator of the universe,, with unquestionable power to heal… we all have to keep praying… sadly (and I’m guilty of it myself) we never talk to god as often as we should.
