Just got a call from one of my long time friends, hunting and, fishing buddy. My friend that I worked with and grew to know ever since 1990 lost his son early this morning. I have walked many a mile deer hunting with this kid over the years. Mentored him on countless hunts. Fished tournaments with him when no one else was available. Was his boat captain at times during his highschool fishing career. He killed the last deer on my wifes family farm before it was sold.
He was following in his fathers footsteps when he joined him on the London Ky city police force. His father Randy was Captain and Logan work nights as a patrol officer. Sometime after midnight Logan was hit head on by a drunk driver and killed. The accident happened on main street downtown London. 1 mile from the police station .
Hug your children more than you think you need to. Visit and talk to your parents all you can. No one knows when it will be the last time you see them.
Pray for his wife, 4 year old son, Father, and entire family ......

Prayers for all involved especially the parents, wife and child. Dad will be experiencing a wide range of emotions for months and years to come. At least I did and still do when my son was killed when.a 19 year old ran a light.
May God hold them fast and provide comfort during their time of grief and struggle to make since of this that will never make since.
