410 shotshells

Looking for a few boxes of 410 3" hunting loads. I have found some TSS but too much for plinking shooting. Just want general field loads at this point.

Wal Mart has them here and Ct.

I've been looking around here for some for my brother in-law,
We never get to Billings Early but around hear that would be our
best bet.
He lives in north Idaho and can't find many.

I look whenever I am in a store that might have them and I haven't seen any in months. And that was a one time deal.

There's none to be found in this vicinity.

Walmart in uniontown had some last week.

A guy put an ad in our local paper looking for some. The ad has ran for 3 weeks so far.

I just looked and cheapest currently is $21/box of 25.

hard to find here, been looking for months. finally found some in a small store 22/box. not sure why they are not around

Local gun shop has them. They have Italian writing on them so I have no ideal what size shot

I was in the city a couple weeks back and stopped in a Bass Pro in Barrie-they just got a shipment in an hour before I went there.
The guy said it was the first delivery of 410's in weeks,he said a limit of 2 boxes per customer.
I told him I was a poor old age pensioner from way up north and only got out to civilization every couple years-he let me have 4 boxes,lol.
Hasent been any in Can tire in Timmins or Cochrane for months.
Even Elwood Epps in Orillia had none.

Scheels in Bismarck had a bunch
My buddy has been ordering them from Cabelas also

Picked up five boxes 3 inch 410 shells from a permantley closed gun shop..... $25 total for all five boxes.

Vance outdoors in Columbus ohio has them. You can buy them online and pick up in store if you don't mind the drive.

Federal had them for sale on their website a couple weeks ago with no limit.

I was at San Antonio last week for sporting clays shoot. Ammo bldg had pallets of .410 shells for sell. I didn't need any so didn't look at prices.

See them all the time in Wy I guess they dont sell out this way.

I order 3 boxes from Midwayusa last week. 3 was the limit.

I have the same problem as Boco, none to be had here, been looking all summer and fall. Every time a shipment comes in it is gone in hours. It's the prefer size gun here for grouse hunting.
I was just in Ottawa a couple of weeks ago and tried 4 stores with zero luck. I look at all the local stores here but never connect when they get a shipment.

Anybody know why the shortage on shotgun shells?

Economics 1oh1; limit the supply , then you create a demand.
Does not be a demand out west here because the shelves are moderately full.

I load 2 1/2 inch 410 for skeet on my mec 9000.....problem is shotgun primers and almost $70 per 25lb of shot

I bought a bunch of Fiocchi new 2 1/2" primed hulls for .16 cents apiece and wads for .2 cents apiece and a Mec grabber and a jug of H110 and have been rolling my own. Graf and Son's had the primed hulls and wads. The price had gone up a bit and they are out of stock right now. Somebody might have some though.

Ballistic Products has the 2.5" Fiocchi new primed hulls in stock right now for 19 cents a piece

Found a box of Remington express # 6 shot at wally world today , $22 a box , bad part is , I'll have to look in back of safe to see if I still have a .410 , gave a couple of them away. Also got a box of Express # 4 shot , 12 gauge , and # 6 shot , 20 gauge . Felt like I hit the lottery , first box of # 4's I've seen in a couple years .

I checked local Walmart yesterday. No 410 shells. The Walmart worker said they haven't had any for some time and while I was looking thru the empty shelves another young man walked up to look for some 410 shells for his 6 yr old son.

My Walmart had some a couple weeks ago. The other day they didn't. Just hit and miss.

I not too far from Ottawa, I have not seen any here and was in Greater Toronto Area last week, same results.

Because I bought them all lol.

I seen some 3 inch 7.5 yesterday. 18 something a box. They had been selling on local auctions for 35 to 45 a box

Cletis, cheddites are pretty common up here.

The unicorn in the primer market is large rifle. See very few of those.

The Ammo companies are doing the same as oil companies produce less and you double your profits simple math control the flow of output create a demand and charge more.

Let's see the proof of that.

The hoarders didnt help companies see the profit and adjust accordingly

Thanks to all those that gave me tips and leads for the 410 shells. I followed up every lead and made contacts as to what was available. I found some shells, not so cheap but that is just how things are at the moment. I should have a few cases coming in the next few days. You folks are the best and I knew if they were out there someone would have a tip or two to share.

Now the hunt is on for large rifle primers.

I have some fiocchi 8 or 9 shots but they aren't 3" shells I would part with for $20 a box.

Scheels in Rapid City had 8 and 8.5 shot yesterday
