Another favorite western poet and singer of mine for many years is Red Steagall, but he's up in his 80's now. Still stand up there and play that western swing for some boot scooting.

Ian Tyson is way up there too.

Ian has got to be late 80s for sure , i got to see him in Elko at the cowboy poetry gathering 5 or 6 years ago.

Not alot of them left these days.

I do like Don's music and was sorry to hear he had passed. I watch Red's TV show and enjoyed seeing Don on there.
