Are you energized to vote tomorrow?

Are you energized to vote tomorrow? - 11/07/22 03:46 PM

I am. I really think our gun rights and hunting and trapping privileges are on the line. The U.S. Supreme Court is just a step away from becoming totally woke. If the Dems take the Senate, it may happen and there goes everything we believe in.

If I see ANYTHING fishy I will raise a stink. Even if I get arrested. Hopefully I will not be needing bail money from Tman members....lol

that should be illegal

to allow limited vote early or limited absentee ballots for those who need them , but to offer NO in person day of election voting seem just plane wrong to me.

Re: Are you energized to vote tomorrow? - 11/07/22 04:36 PM

As for the democrats concern about threats to democracy, nothing absolutely nothing can't be solved as long as you have access to the ballot box. Best system of governance ever devised by mankind.

But that assumes a fair game. I remain convinced we did not get that in 2020. As the old boy said on the radio that time........."if they take away the ballot box, all we have left is the ammo box".

Country will not tolerate rigged elections. Sending a float of live ballots thru US mail is not workable as a free and fair method of running elections. It is ripe for fraud. Has to be ended......or else.

I feel you. I voted clean slate against all incumbents in the primaries. Got the same old same old. So I'll vote against the D save for the top three in this state, I'll leave those blank. Chump, Ratburger and Carr proved themselves to be worse than useless in 2020.

But even so its looking like we'll get same old same old.

Not sure I've ever been less energized to vote. I will vote, as it is my civic duty, but it's hard to be energized about it when you know that the election system in this country is compromised.

I predict the democrats will take both houses of congress.

Re: Are you energized to vote tomorrow? - 11/07/22 11:18 PM

We joke about the election fraud, but it is a real and worsening problem, and now nearly 100% tied to mail in ballots.

Lets get this one won and out of the way and if yours is one of the states that is prone to election fraud........widespread state rules that enable it......it will be up to you guys to do what you can to be rid of it. It does not only affect you. When your state allows an election fraud issue to send the likes of Uncle Fester to the US Senate.........or give O'l Sniffy the keys to the white house......that affects all the rest of us too.

Nothing I can do but fix what needs fixing and vote for the guys from here who will do the right thing. Up to the rest of you do do the same.

Vote!!!!!!!

Re: Are you energized to vote tomorrow? - 11/08/22 01:29 AM

I would be a lot more "energized" if our state didn't allow non-citizens to vote. It's no wonder, Minnesota has the highest turnout of "eligible" voters in the country. Heck, a good third of the active voters here aren't even registered to vote until they walk into the polling place. You can register to vote here on voting day and it is unlawful to ask if you are a U.S. citizen. Their votes go through the "scammer", just like mine!

Re: Are you energized to vote tomorrow? - 11/08/22 02:51 AM

The way I see it. Assuming there is cheating going on why would I make it easier for them? Give em one more vote to overcome. Its much easier to cheat if the conservatives don't turn in their ballots. Make them go to great lengths to cheat enough to win. Doing so makes it more likely to be seen by the masses.

Fixing this mess is not a 'one and done' thing. Its concerted effort over generations, just like it took to get here in the first place.

Woe, we are a nation of unclean lips Chauncey... and cheering.... and voting for more of it all the time.
What'd we expect to happen?

It wouldn't be so sad, but that this is what those my age have built for our children and grandchildren.
The age of "I just want you to be happy," and "I don't care what other people do" is coming home to roost and the hens are laying immoral eggs in the cities, in the towns, in the hills and in the valleys.
So we vote the best we can with what we have where we're at.

But mostly pray for God to bring us, even more, to our knees to repent as a nation.
Cause so far, all He's getting from the masses is unclean lips.

Blessings!
I'll be down in Texas trapping a new ranch contract in December up in the panhandle where we have a lion killing exotics weekly at present.
I hope to put Ms. Donna on the lion. Would be a great photo!

Re: Are you energized to vote tomorrow? - 11/08/22 12:30 PM

This is a very important election in KY this year in that there are 2 constitutional amendments on the ballot one that allows the legislature to call itself into emergency session whereas currently only the governor can do so which caused some major issues during covid as he would not call and emergency session and the second which is the most important specifies that abortion is not a right under the KY Constitution and that tax dollars cannot be required to be spend to fund abortion.

In addition, all the local government positions are up for election in my area. I think we often underestimate the importance of these positions and their impact on our day to day lives.

My wife daughter and I went to vote. My wife and daughter had no trouble. I could not be found. After the last election I finally went to the license branch and changed my driver's license to my new address at the farm and asked to have my voter restoration up dated to my new address. This was the only reason I went and changed my address on my driver's license.

Apparently they did not update where I'm registered to vote and I have to drive 2hrs each way to vote if I want to vote. The fellow at the polling place said he has had several people have that problem today.

So I have to leave for work extremely early in order to vote. Whats bad is I won't be able to cast my vote for my local sheriff or other local offices .

If you can't vote election day or via absentee ballot, too bad. Imo

Sounds like Pennsylvania just needs to have a “voting week” instead of a particular day. Didn’t realize there were that many illiterate people up North, thought that stigma was just assigned to the South.

When we voted this morning, there was a very old man there who went to vote and the poll workers found someone else had sent in an absentee vote for him. He refused to do a provisional ballot and complaint.

I got it done. Also got quite the indirect compliment on my beard and handle bar
Very surprising to say the least.

The young lady checking me in looked over to what appeared to be her boyfriend and told him if he ever grows his facial hair out long she wanted him to do it just like mine. It took me a second to realize what she said and that she was talking about me. I just smiled and moved down the line to vote. They looked about 20 or so. I was preoccupied trying to vote and get to work and it didn't fuly register tell I was back in my truck.

I was taken back that a young woman would like my longer graying beard and handle bar. Normally I only have younger kids or men compliment my Handel bar. Most people probably think it's goofy and well it is.
