Tampering would be not delivering ballots that folks filled out. You out to get our local mail delivery person now too, give me a break.

How can ballots that don't arrive or are not postmarked by a certain date be valid?

If they are post marked by Election Day, by all means deliver them. Ballots mailed after Election Day should go in the trash.

If you think we should be counting ballots mailed after the results are posted you deserve the (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) country that’s coming.

So assuming these ballots were postmarked on time we are to believe that it takes the USPS three weeks to deliver them?

So what is it fraud or incompetence?

JMO, but the USPS should have never been allowed to touch a ballot.

Remember how the Dems fought to NOT count ballots from.US servicemen overseas, that were postmarked before the election but delivered after? In Florida during the Bush- Gore fiasco?

Well, this is like that, only different.

Absolutely in the trash. Some polling people are too shy, and say "that person deserves that their vote counts"! Then mail it in earlier, or go wait in line.

It’s simple-vote in person with id. That’s it. If you can’t make time that’s on you. Folks delay vacations, surgeries, appointments, meetings for all sorts of reasons. Make it happen or don’t vote. Can’t make it out for health reasons? Don’t vote. Voting is important-act like it.

Here Here! If our ancestors could roll their eyes then slap the tar out of some, they would. All voting other then in person voting is not set up for convenience, it's by design to manipulate results.

Maybe what should happen is a health reason shown for voting by absentee. Or physically not able to move.

It might cut down on some of the laziest people out there that don't want to get in line to vote.

Their supposed to be post marked the day of the election! If you use a hand stamp, does that count legally?

For starters, that article was published on a website dedicated to government employees and was generic as to location. It only is applicable to the few states where votes can trickle in for weeks after the election, and still be counted. Which on it's face is absurd. It assumes all involved are as pure as the wind driven snow, which they are not. It opens up a massive hole for fraud. If a hand stamp is legal, it's legal and I could make a plausible replica on my own if I needed to. If I"m a bad actor, once I know the votes I need to make up, the process allows me to dump in what I need? And that is before you take into account most US Postal workers are in a unique position to take actions the rest of us don't have access to. Not saying they all do........only that it's possible, which by itself is enough to cast doubt on the process. It would only take a few out of the whole to make a difference. Only one of many holes in the voting process.

In MO, I had three options to vote absentee.

1. Two week window to vote early by showing up at county clerk's office at courthouse. they setup a makeshift polling place. Same as regular polling place with same process followed. That is as secure as regular polling place. Best option for early voting.

2. Request an absentee ballot, but signature on outside must be notarized, which is a hole. Not a big hole, but a hole just the same.

3. For those who request it, during early voting, county will send a team of elections officials to your home. My 95 year old mother could have requested that and two or three election judges would bring her a ballot to be marked up in her home in their presence. Expensive process, but an option. That goes above and beyond.

But as for all the rest where ballots are put in the mail, once a ballot leaves the secure process inherent in a polling place, passing thru multiple third party hands, all bets are off. Each and every step along the way is an open invitation for fraud. So wide open you could drive a truck thru it.

BTW, gotta ask. In this or past elections, how many of you showed up to vote, only to be told you had already voted? Or know somebody that happened to?

Not unusual at all for mail to be three or four weeks late to Nome since 2020. Now I realize we're not mainstream USA, but we got used to it.

Its a scam to steal the elections , we never had to wait before. and" I am not used to it" The few absentee ballots should not even make a difference in the results
