I’m in bed not in stand

Sit All day yesterday in rain snow and 15 mph winds Saw does no bucks. Up at 4 am to get ready and walked across floor staggering like a drunk ! Ear hurting. So no tree stand for me since I stumbled into door frame trying to get in shower
Called my son and put him in my stand . This massive 8 pt with 6 brows has come in every day for a week. He texted me said he’s chasing a doe in the thicket in front of him now ! Hope he gets a shot

Nice one. We are not hunting either. It's church day after all. But my 10 year old shot a small 6 point yesterday and my 12 year old was watching TV with only 3/4 of his laundry put away so he is not hunting as punishment.

Yesterday my beard was snow covered as was the boys.
My Trophy hunting neighbor shot a smaller 3 year old then talks about how he is not really happy with it. That kind if crap gets under my skin. If it's not what he wanted he shouldn't have shot it.

Yea you can’t kill a big deer or you won’t have big deer on your property if you kill the little ones. I hunt on Sunday until 9:15 then got time to get to 11 o’clock service no hunting on Sunday afternoon that’s grand babies time !

Went and set up for some predators. Ended up seeing a “cow” that had a nice 10pt rack on lockdown with a doe. For 2.5 hours they didn’t move 30yds. She’d get up and mill around and he’d breed her. They’d mill around and lay back down for a while. I watched him mate her 3 times before I finally snuck out of there when they laid back down for the 3rd time!
I didn’t take any deer stuff with me but my son keeps rattling antlers in his Tower so I tried those to bring ole boy in closer but all he would do was look my way. I did rattle in two dinks and a nice 8pt that was a clone of the 8pt my DIL shot 5-6 years ago, lol.
The front moved through last night and the temps dropped! Bucks were chasing does everywhere. A BEAUTIFUL morning!!

Looks like an old deer on the decline. Better get him before he dies of old age That has lots of character and has a few tricks that he has used to survive this long
