Yellowstone. - 11/21/22 02:36 AM

So far, season five seems to be lacking compared to the other four. I love the scenery and such. But, just doesn't have the same feel.
Maybe next episode will.
Or, maybe setting it up for a jaw dropping event. Time will tell.
It sure makes me miss montana and the Flathead rez.

Does ANYONE like Kayce's wife? lol

Re: Yellowstone. - 11/21/22 04:33 PM

When watching, I skip through anything about Kaycee, his wife, and kid. Too much uncontrolled emotional drama.
Same for Jayme, the barn kid, the Indian power witch, and the corporate troll anger witch.

It seems to be dying on the vine.

Re: Yellowstone. - 11/21/22 04:43 PM

The show was good in setting up info of legal moves, and tactical plans against Market Equity. Beth's strategy was brilliant, in contacting that CEO of another big industry to chip in on the plan as well.

A lot of intellectual ideas discussed, with more brilliant plans from the Governor. This show, as well as the premiere two hour show last week, was appropriately a chess game of real life turf war of real estate takeover , that sets the series well.

An amount of the thoughts expressed by John was right on to how true Montanans feel in real life about their beautiful state.

A mix of movie show, and real life concerns.

It doesn't all have to be action for me. The intellectual strategies in protecting one's land I appreciate as much as anything. It all goes together. Always have liked shows that are part true history, and part artistic license entertainment.

I don't believe so.
Tired of her whining.
Plus, she is so far away from being native.
She is actually of Chinese descent.
Plus the politics i could without. Hope Jamie grows a spine and shows loyalty.

I enjoy the scenery very much. My mom always did. That's way she is laid to rest at the bottom of the mountains she so dearly loved on the Flathead Indian Reservation.

Interested and how the wolf killing is going to be covered up. The fed boys are someone you just don't screw with in Montana.

I enjoy the ranch, wildlife, scenery, politics, and intense high stakes dealing.

So, skipping the parts I don’t care for gets me through the program in about 25 minutes.

last night when they jumped back to a 40ish John Dutton me and my wife had a debate . She accused me of changing the channel !!! That's starting to get old. Last night they had 3 generations of same people. They need to post on screen "25 years ago" something.

You seem the type. I bet your coon skinnin videos had to be heavily edited lol. grin Here's my synopsis lol.

If your religious, this show ain't for you.
If you don't like cussin, and most of it not needed, this show ain't for you.
If you don't like nudity and sexual innuendo's, this show ain't for you.
I watch it for a lot of reasons, mostly because we are so limited now of westerns. The scenery, old lanterns, horses, the cowboy life. I do enjoy the family struggles like Dallas past, and the politics. I also enjoy the characters, most of which are libs I'm sure. But I don't fault anyone for how they choose the Country ran. I do boycott ones like Ashley Judd and her like for openly saying if your not like her, you are trash.

Can't believe Teeter, my favorite character is Michael Landon's daughter. That's a jump from Bonanza! I haven't watched any of the new season yet, no spoilers lol.

Figured trappers and ranchers would have been all over this last episode, especially when it flashed back to the younger years. Don’t want to say to much for those that haven’t seen this season yet.

I love the show but wish there were less f-bombs and other things that are said. my grandson loves the show too but hes only 13. they could get there point across without all the cursing in my opinion.its getting a little far fetched when a son is shooting his dad and dumping them in ravines.
