I'm retired FD but still have some relatives and freinds in uniform. Don't know which may or may not be actually working today. But I wish them all the best and be safe.

Oilfield workers collect a check for hours put in today. Rest assured it is almost exclusively windshield time. The exceptions to that are injection leaks, flowline leaks, and any other random emergencies. Any of those that could be put off til Monday, were.

They don't stop work on drilling rigs for holidays. Completions continues too. I wasn't just thanking the pumpers.

Blaine -

Petroleum production administration issues were discussed yesterday.
Similar to other industries.
I expect you thought about some of your work yesterday.

Thanks to everyone in the petroleum industry for the real energy that powers this country and the world.

For sure drilling doesn't stop. Drilling doesn't really stop for anything except a rig move or no well to move to. In my experience, completions are definitely scheduled around holidays.
