Funny thing;
At 0659, she heard one coming.
It was THE BUCK: big, heavy, wide racked one that tried to leap over her car Wednesday morning, denting the fender and busting the windshield, before bouncing across the road, and running off onto our place.
Gun up, taking safety off....

Her phone rings at 0700.
Back into the swamp he slowly goes

Luckily, she got a consolation prize.

Nice, tell her congrats! And to turn her phone off or leave it at home.

gotta remember to put the phone on silent. I didn't have a deer coming to me but have had that happen before. Now I try to remember to check. Nice little buck as a consolation prize though.
