Senior day on the trap line

Senior day on the trap line - 11/29/22 06:44 PM

Made a couple otter sets yesterday and they got plugged with a 50 pound beaver and a kit. I am sure they will connect after the beaver traffic slows down.

That is a good deal... I like trapping beaver, but it is getting pretty hard for me to do it now. We have a spotting of otto and that is the only thing, legal, I have never caught.

Keep up the good work.

Great pics Flipper.
It never fails if you dont remove the beaver first with beaver sets they always find the otter sets when you put them in later.

My wife likes going along and setting for otter on crossovers with bodygrips, but she is not putting waders on! She also likes getting pics or video of me falling off a beaver dam and making sure I don't die. grin

I can get her riled up pretty easily, it's great sport! She has put up with me for 42 years of marriage and she likes fast boats! laugh

Nice to see an ol fart out there ...still whacking some fur.
That channel should produce....just make plenty of pinch point sets for when a pile of them come through.

Hey, you are just as old, so get out there and catch something and have some fun! Get your grandson to drag the bodies out for you!
