Thats a nice dark roux, a good roux makes a difference in taste....My grandmother made a heart stew with a dark roux, way better then regular stew...Only thing she did different was to make the roux separately and added it at the end.

I kinda agree. It would have been hard for me to get past the frying stage. But, the finished product looks great, too. I don't know how it tastes Wolfie, but you sure make a fine presentation.

grin best part about this is you take three hours to make it and you have food for the next week lol. Could always just put it in tray and freeze it then boom , TV dinner with some flair wink

Schnitzel is fried pork chops. He's saying (half-saying) that you ruined the breaded pork chops by putting all that other stuff on them, lol.

Not so, jaegerschnitzel (hunter schitzel) is breaded and fried pork served with mushroom wine sauce brown gravy. But they are served country fried style not smothered.
