$27.97 per box. Note! I wasn't focused on the price ,just that they are available for those still looking.

For what it is worth, I have seen a LOT more ammo coming available in the last couple weeks. I don't think we are going to see $9.99 a box again but I wouldn't get too excited quite yet. I bet in a short time you can buy 30-30 "locally" for $22-25 box.

160 I agree. I ordered 2 boxes and that will hold me till they start to show up locally. Don't think I'll order any more, just wait till they start to show up.

I have been ordering case lots (that I don't NEED) but when I can get it for $1 round with shipping and tax I have been adding to my collection.

Then if you find it for .75 a round later on, buy some more and get your average cost down. Then when no one can find it, you do not care. Because you are not looking, other than for deals.

Come to Iowa, most Walmarts and farm fleet stores, sporting goods stores carry those 30-30, 270, and other sizes and don't really have rifle seasons. Most can use straight walled rifles like 350's and 450's for deer and a box of shells is cheaper for 20 shells compared to 5 shotgun sabots for $20-$25.

Thats still too high for me. I roll my own with quality bullets for .40 cents or $8.00 per box. The brass represents 60% of the cost. I can reload 30/30 at least 6 times.
