This purty little civet will help pay the gas bill for the day.

All and all, not a bad day.

The civet is great and the cat on the left looks to have good markings too. It is strange now seeing snow.

After running the land line it was on to the water where I added 3 more otters and 4 beaver to the day's tally.

There's a story on the last otter. That will be a separate thread! Don't miss it.

And I thought that western Washington had red bobcats; wow. We should get a premium for that unique color.

Do civets spray? What will the cats bring? Dollar wise

Pale cat looks more like a western cat, those red backs look about like the junk we have down here.

Spotted skunk got put on protection list here, from old fur sale record's there must of been a bunch of them here but now hardly any. Ive only caught one in my life and that was in 1984.

Nice one. Looks like that one took a long trip from east of the mountains.

Save those ‘cat’s glands!

What are you paying for cat glands, John?

Use to see those civits now and then around my cousins farm in southwestern Mn back when I was a kid, have also seen a few hit on the road when driving out to South Dakota, but their few and raw between and I believe are still protected in Minnesota

For the cats for sure. But on the east side of the state there is a limit of 5. West side my report card holds 15 spaces and I can buy as many cards as i need. And every once in a while I see an A or B belly.

And there is the bonus of the civets that hit those carcasses as well. No limit on those...in fact there isn't even a season.

Doesn't matter what you call the bellies, a three cat day is a VERY good day!
