This guy had put fear into Goalies with his Slapshot. The first guy I remember to have had the hardest shot in the day.

First to score 50 goals in a season-when the season was about half the games as today.
RIP Bobby.

I started listening to the Black Hawks with Hull and Mikita and have been a Black Hawks fan since. Some very good years and some lean ones as well. Fast, strong and a good puck handler. RIP Bobby.

Yes he was one of the great ones in the era before helmets, masks and curved sticks. My brother and I watched most of the Hawks games on WGN Tv out of Chicago, I think Lolyd Pettit was one of the announcers. For years my brothers nickname for me was Stanley ,
(for Stan Mikita) and I called Him Marvin, which was Hulls middle name. Saw him in an interview after he retired and said that he suffured greatly with ulcers and that treatments that helped him didnt come until later in his life. RIP GOLDEN JET

I was more of a baseball and football fan back then but what sports fan didn’t know Bobby Hull back in the day.

Re: RIP Bobby.... - 02/01/23 02:45 AM

He put the Winnipeg Jets with his signing for a million and many other players finely had a bargaining chip to play
The farmer has one of his first hockey cards of him.....was offered just as much as a 1/4 section of land a few years back, in the figure of 300-350,000$ but he still owns it.
