Insanity knows no bounds

Anyone who has traveled Atlanta's downtown connector interstate would think plans are underway to improve or widen the interstate to fix the perennial parking lot we call the connector.

Nope, the morons want this instead.

To roof it over to build a friggen park!

These city idiots have lost all touch with reality.

Whats the number for the loop around town? I 285 I think? Thats the only route legal for semi's. You can bet on being stopped if making a delivery inside of it and having to show your bill of lading. I can't remember ever driving that loop without seeing an accident. Usually several. Atlanta and Houston are tied for having the worst drivers in the continental U.S. More lanes downtown on I 85 (I think thats right?) won't help anyway.

I've driven through Atlanta a few times. The place scared the crap out of me!

I don't get into big cities much, by choice, but I didn't know they were putting roofs on parks now. I though parks were places you could go, if you live in a city, to get outside.

No, they are wanting to roof over the interstate then pile dirt on top on that.

That's a good plan but they should bury the whole city.

The roof over the park is so the homeless can sleep under a roof outside. Bet in due time it will be overrun with homeless living under it.

Might as well the overpasses in Atlanta already look like a third world country with tent cities under them.

But I have seen the city piling up rock under some of them to deter that. Atlanta really cares that way.

Might be a nice place to sleep , the electric cars won't make much noise. Might even squat a small spot above for a couple chickens and a small space for some much needed rice provided I am gifted a couple of chop sticks by the owners.

Plenty of places to make money in this world. Atlanta is the last place I would choose.

We took the bypass around Atlanta one time and never again. Got stuck in the worst dead stopped traffic jam ever.
