I got a 6 gallon kit and the SG is 1.040. How much sugar can I add to bring ut up to 1.090?

Wine must be a lot different than Grain Alcohol. Grain Alcohol is is normally made without Sugar unless you are cheap and in a hurry. I have never used any sugar in my mash. Grandpa would haunt me from his grave.
