I wanted to post this in the general area as well so that more people see it. But as of yesterday thanks to an overwhelming public response: the bill to ban the sale of fur in Oregon is officially dead!

I love it.
Every time we score a victory like this it's not only a victory for Oregon, but for all the other states out there as well. They now will have to think twice about attacking where there is organization and preparation.

Without a doubt it was primarily the Humane Society of United States. Same culprits in the California fur ban. Of course the bill was presented by two Democratic State Reps being used as stooges.

The sponsor stooge had nothing in his profile to read.
The cosponsor stooge originally came from Ohio. His main profile was about his husband and accomplishments to the LGTB community.
Both reside in Portland. Nuff said.
