What are the poor folks eating tonight?

Wife was gone so I cooked up 2 pork chops that were very dry I need to buy a pig for the locker those hogs can’t be beat that we get.

I had to settle for BLTs and cucumber salad.
No pictures because I ate it all. Now I am looking sideways at some fresh blackberries...

Wife is gone but she had my 11 year old cut carrots, onion and potatoes and put a deer rost with them in the crock pot. House smelled amazing when I came in from milking and feeding. Was hungry enough I think it tasted good but it was so hot when I scarfed it down I'm not 100% sure.

My guess the males are nasty if not nutted?
