That 8 pointer is a dandy. Tall tines, nice spread, long main beams, even as all get out.
I'll need to confer with Bucksnbears to see who I need to talk to before I guesstimate the score. I don't remember the names of those fellers that he said I listen too much to, or something like that.

I would age him at 3. I will try to do a rough score the next few days. No I’m not mounting it.

There I was sitting in my tree stand for maybe an hour. I looked to my left and spotted a rack probably 60 yards away. I could tell that the buck had long tines. My heart rate went a little faster. He weaved his way through the timber heading closer to me. At one time I thought he was going behind me, then he turned and came on the path under my stand. He turned at 6 yards and a sound of BAH came out of my mouth. He ran towards my truck and fell over. Only 40 yards from my truck but up a pretty good grade. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Yes, I did forget that. Between 140-145

4 for each side for H-4. So total is 147.5

Did you subtract the difference? Or is that just Boone and Crocket? I scored my 9 point and it grossed 170 2/8 but netted 148 6/8 after it(the online scoring calculator) subtracted the difference.

22 inches sounds like a lot of deductions. Unless he had broken tines or badly mismatched. Post a picture of it..

What differences? I posted the sheet I used. I not worried about it’s score. Just a nice even buck.

Don't have a pic but I explain. the G1, G2 G3 are all fairly even. But one side has 5 and the other 4. So the G4 is short because it was just added to the rack this year but it is compared to the main beam/G4 on the other side because it is the 4th point. It seems your compare the to main beams but in reality its just the 4th point. That is 6-8 inches right there.
