Does anyone know the manufacturer of this vise and/or style?

It's what I have always called a woodworker's vice. There should be markings from the manufacturer somewhere.

Yep. It mounts under a bench. Very nice to have for traditional woodworking.

that one looks like it does more than just mount under the bench and go in and out

looks like it can also rotate and maybe slide in and out

as well as having a small adjustment lever possibly rather than just the big handle to tightern it

I would suspect some sort of a pattern makers vise with under bench mount

I just don't know what to call it exactly or who makes it

Pete - correct, I have three Sojbergs with under the bench vises. This one also allows you to trapezoid the jaws, my guess is pattern-maker also or millwright

Kindt-Collins pattern makers vise, or maybe an Emmert and Oliver 248 pattern makers vise.
.... or a copy ?
